After it seemed all the fruit was finished and the leaves were turning brown and crinkly a little tomato appeared. It ripened after most of the season’s cleanup was complete. And it will be eaten tonight, possibly with “Hang on Little Tomato” by Pink Martini playing in the background. Another tomato season comes to a close.
